The Tribune Trust have made several grants to community groups in the North Hull area over the years, and also very recently. We have recieved other grant applications from groups in the area and so we were delighted that the Chief Constable offered to arrange a visit for Trustees and Board Members to the area to speak to the local Policing Team. We spent some time with them at the station, and then had a walk around the area so we could see first hand the great work being done by local people, and also what the best opportunities to further support groups with grants might be. We were hosted by Superintendent Paul Butler and PCSO Dawn Brown, and were delighted to be joined by Assistant Chief Constable Lisa Hogan. It was a fascinating visit and will be hugely helpful when we are considering grants, and other ways we can support the area, now and in the future.
