The High Sheriff Tina Cerutti presents CatZero.s Danny Watson with a cheque for the charity. Clare Bradley-Taylor has told us how the money will be spent. Clare said "At the start of 2023 we completed our East Hull families programme and commenced a similar families programme in west Hull at the start of April. Along with the Grimsby families Programme, this will continue to run until at least 2026 Thanks to the Big lottery and supporter's such as the Tribune Trust. We also continue to run programmes for service veterans and the long term unemployed. as well as a programme for young adults with a criminal record funded by the police and crime commissioner. The Tribune Trusts recent grant will be put towards supporting the children of our families programmes, providing them with holiday activities and one to one support including professional independent counselling, in order to address the many issues they are facing such as anxiety, past trauma, trust issues and anger management. It will help to make a tremendous difference to their lives.".
