Supporting safer communities in the Humber Region
The High Sheriff for the East Riding Richard Shepherdson, accompanied by the Venetia Wrigley, High Sheriff for North Yorkshire, visited The Bridges Project in Hull on the 9th of November, 2021. They toured the premises which provides help to ex-offenders who have addiction problems. This facility is run by the Forward Trust and provides residential courses for the participants. The High Sheriffs were able to observe some training in action and were able to present a cheque for £2,000 to the Scheme Members. The funds were to assist in the much needed refurbishment of the rooms.
